What Marketing Consultants Really Do: Driving  the Sustainability Agenda

Most industries know that the future is about being sustainable.

Interestingly, industries start to become more active than governments to make an agenda. A great example of this was a consortium started by IT CEOs from companies such as Microsoft and Alibaba, in which these competitors came together in order to set an agenda on lowering their carbon footprint.

By uniting, companies can take the lead and won’t have to follow what governments may impose. This way they can make quick decisions and enable efficient change in a way that governments may not be able to.

 

For industries to enact effective sustainability they must make the decision to move forward before the decision gets made for them.
